Ted is the founder of IFG Advisors LLC. Through his reputation, care and commitment on behalf of his clients, Ted has built a practice around holistic planning. This client-centered practice focuses on partnering with clients to create and execute a roadmap to ensure their future. Born and raised in St. Louis, Ted began his financial career in 1990 gaining over 25 years of industry experience. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2002 and joined a select group of financial representatives to form the financial planning arm of Northwestern Mutual, Network Planning Advisors. In order to provide a wider realm of services for his clients, Ted began his own planning firm, IFG Advisors LLC, in 2006. During the period 2008-2014, he aligned IFG Advisors LLC with Investment Planners Inc. However, to further his ability to serve his clients, IFG Advisors LLC broke away from Investment Planners in January 2015 and now serves as its own Registered Investment Advisor. Ted's professional licenses and designations over the years have included the FINRA Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Series 65 and he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. In addition, he earned a B.A. in Sociology from Tulane University. Ted is an established member of the St. Louis community where he is an active member of the Board of Directors of Sherwood Forest Camp, the Jewish Community Center, the Ladue School Finance Committee and the City of Olivette Investment Committee. He has previously served on other of other non-profit organizations boards. Ted also participates as a coach for youth athletics, enjoys playing golf, hockey, and softball and competes in triathlons. When not working or playing, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters.
